PS3 or XBOX 360?

the Japanese NES was called the famicom and there was the famicom disk system which obviously used discs so Nintendo made the first major use of discs not sony
and actually wolfenstein 3D (I read both of your versions) was 2.5D because they didn't have the technology too make it anything more, and so was doom, but quake was truly 3D, too bad it wasn't as good and this was before starfox I believe

StarFox(SNES) was relesed before Doom, but Doom was released before StarFox 64. StarFox(SNES) wasn't 3D it was using a Super FX chip so I think yes Quake could have been the first ture 3D game.

Edit: Also Quake was made on June 22, 1996. StarFox was released in the Spring of 1993.

What the he** (not too sure what the rules are on swearing yet) are you guys talking about?? I'm completely lost...

I like PS3, first of all because it is the awesomest thing ever!, secondly it has all my two favorite series Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts, also it has the multi-platform games like Rock Band, Guitar Hero, and Soul Caliber. I say scew Halo that game is overrated and super lame. XBOX 360 is horrible, the Wii is pretty cool it has Super Smash Bros. Brawl and the Wiimote isn't tooo freaking annoying.

Anyway, since I was lost I decided to start my own discussion!

I'd go for the xbox 360 because it has the best range of games (in my opinion) and has great graphics.
It definately has better games than the PS3 and most of the good games on the PS£ (i.e. Unreal tournament, COD4, Assassins Creed etc) are on the Xbox 360 as well. Admittedly i have had the red-ring-of-death once but microsoft fixed it instantly and gave me one months free xbox live.
