PS3 or XBOX 360?

Which do you think is better? Personaly I like the 360 a lot better, but I'm buying the PS3.

The 360 has a more extensive genre range than the PS3.
PS3 is more racing-type focused, while the 360 has a nice
mix between adventure, sport and racing.

Although I have only tried/experienced each of them once (and don't own either one), from the experience when I used them, I prefer PS3. This is because it has more functions than Xbox such as a hd-blueray reader and PS3 doesn't have the bug Xbox has. On top of that is the easier to use controlls on PS3. The bug I am talking about is the one that cost Microsoft about ($2,000,000,000) 2 billion dollars. And as a note, any genre with lost of action suits me.
But if I could choose any console, it would be Nintendo Wii.

my wii owns ps3 and xbox360

Why does everyone like Wii? It just seems so cheap. Well it does get you active and moving, but the graphics just suck, almost worse than PS2 graphics. But I guess that's just my opinion.

Well, it really comes down to this Jon, are you in it for the interactivity,
or graphics. It is cheap, but the price has only once ever dropped, unlike
to PS3 and 360, whose prices are always dropping(popularity in Nintendo perhaps?).

Without it I would say the 360 is better.

that's not the only good game on the wii, there are tons:
metroid prime 3
super Mario galaxy
super paper Mario
No more heroes
zack and wiki

plus the virtual console, enabling you too play ever nintendo consoles game (the gcn games are played like they normally would be, with there discs)

and the wii will win because Nintendo hasn't lost a gen war since the 3rd gen (there are 7 gens starting with the magnavox oddesey that had games like pong) so Nintendo wont lose this one because its been around for so long and everybody LUVS Nintendo hell even sega, Ninty's biggest rival actually started working for them

and oh yeah FREE online play, why would I pay for xbox live when I can have Wi-Fi for free

i chose xbox360.it's just got more stuff.

I don't own either, but I say PS3, mostly because it's awesome from what I've seen. Microsoft is a great computer company, but they don't their way around consoles in my opinion. Besides, they haven't pushed any boundries like Nintendo or Sony.

-First platformer (Donkey Kong)
-First True 3D Game (StarFox)
-First real reason to get off the couch to play a video game (Wii)
-Mario, Legend of Zelda, Donkey Kong, Metroid, StarFox, Earthbound, Pokémon... (the list goes on and on)
And Sony:
-First Music-centered game (Guitar Hero)
-First (major) user of compact disks (Play Station)
Both also have a lot of online capabilities.
Microsoft:
-the best error screen I've ever seen
-the best ventalation system (they caught on fire during thier design)
Yeah, Microsoft has done a lot to the gaming world.

Just fixed up two things in the quote.

Although i am for the wii all the way, the 360 has produced the fastest selling
game of all time (Halo 3), and has pushed graphics to never before seen boundaries,
(PGR, Halo 3, DOA, GOW). Just can't beat a good afternoon of Gears Of War.

PS3 all the way, for me.
