| Wow, that's pretty cool! (I am going to use it as my screen saver ) You should expand the concept though.(mabey a third team with 3 ships for each team and the color randomly picked, planets could be captured to make more ships for that team....ect..) Very cool but I just wanted to get out some ideas! | |

| You couldn't have timed that better. i just started working on a new one today, but i'll have to start from scratch because i lost the gm7 file. i'm not sure what you mean about the planets though. | |

| I'd send you the source, but i lost it. basically, i made the ship always turn toward direction variable dest, and changed dest based on the nearset enemy. Is it too close, is it facing the ship, in those cases, it runs away, otherwise it heads for the enemy.
That's pretty much it. | |

| Your welcome. note that it doesn't make the program exit on mouse movement or key presses on it's own though, you have to work that out yourself. | |

| Just make an exit controller. Set it to exit the "game" on a keyboard, any key event. Also, create two variables and on either a game start, room start, or create event, and set them to mouse_x and mouse_y. Then in step, step, check if the variables arn't the same as the mouse position, and if they arn't, exit. | |

| By planets I mean there are say 5 planets that are gray. red ship touches planet planet color = red planet makes a red ship at planet every x amount of time. Green touches color = green every x long makes a green ship at planet | |

| It's possible to do, but there's ships flying all over the place constantly. the planets would be flashing different colors all the time, and people wouldn't know what's going on. it's an interesting idea, but it wouldn't work the way it is now. | |

| Mine has just done something weird. There was only one ship of each, and they couldn't get each other. They kept circling around, neither able to shoot the other. It was hilarious at first, but then it just got annoying. Maybe you should add some code that when there is only two left and about 30 (or whatever) seconds pass, a new group of ships on both sides form (or something to that effect). | |
