I thought I would share with you my progress on lbuild. It is a level builder written in gamemaker to allow people to add stages to your game without using gamemaker. At the moment, I am making the level builder for a pacman type game and is open source for anyone to look at. At the moment, it can create up to 200 blocks for the walls, 200 points/score gathers and has a feature to remove objects that are hidden under other objects (cleanup button). But lbuild will only be available for 2D games.
The controls are, arrows to move around the map. Click the insert block button to add a block (the block will appear at the top left corner). Then to remove objects, right click on the object. To remove objects behind each other, click the clean up button. You can also add points by clicking the add points button (which will appear at the top left corner). If you have any suggestions or ways which will improve it then just post it. The download link is below for the level editor.
